RULES AND CONDITIONS
ENROLMENT
The minimum age of enrolment is 16 years. Younger students are admitted with
the written authorisation of a parent or guardian who agrees to take full
responsibility for the student during the term of the course.
The enrolment is completed upon the receipt of a course deposit of 100 euro.

All
bank fees incurred are to be paid by the student. Students are required
to forward a copy of the money order or bank transaction to the school office
either by mail or fax. (fax: +39 051 379940)
Full payment of the course must be finalised in cash at the school office
within the 3 days of the course.
The
school cannot accept credit cards and travellers cheques.
Various special offers or discounts can only be availed of one at a time.
STUDY
VISA
Students from countries that require the student to apply for a study visa
will be sent a certificate of enrolment and participation in the course they
have applied for to present to the authorities in their application for their
study visa.
The certificate of enrolment is forwarded only on advance payment of the
full course fee.
In the event of a student being refused a visa or if the student is unable to
attend the course, the student must notify the school office and return the
original certificate of enrolment before their course commencement date.
Only in this case will the course fee be reimbursed minus any postal, bank or
administration charges incurred.
CANCELLATION
OF A COURSE
In the event of a student cancelling their course, the student must notify the
school office by 10 days before the course starting date. The course
deposit will not be reimbursed but will be held in credit for a period of 12
months in which the student is able to use the amount towards another course
at the school.
Should the student decide to leave their course before the finishing date, the
remaining amount of their course fee will not be reimbursed. Instead, the
balance of their course fee will be held in credit for a period of 12 months
in which the student is able to use the amount towards another course at the
school. This credit is not transferable to another person.
Students who miss lessons either at the beginning or during their course will
not be reimbursed for the unattended lessons.
SCHOOL
YEAR
The school is closed for all international public holidays indicated on the
calendar. Lessons falling on International holidays will not be made up or
refunded. In the case of the school closing for local or national public
holidays, the lessons missed will be made up during the same week.
CLASS
MATERIALS
All text books and materials used in class are provided by the instructor.
A student may borrow the text book for the duration of the course.
Should the student wish to purchase text books used in class, the instructor
will provide information on where they can be found in the city.
ACCOMMODATION
The school provides a service of home-stay accommodation search and placement
for students. The school takes no responsibility regarding the relationship
between the student and their host.
The rental payment is made in person to the host in Bologna. In all types of
home-stay accommodation arranged by the school office, the weekly price
includes gas, electricity and the cleaning of the room before the arrival of
the student. The student is responsible for all personal items.
The school does not provide a transport service between the point of
arrival in the city (airport, station) and accommodation.
INSURANCE
Students are covered by insurance within the school premises. All
students are advised to take out private travel insurance before leaving their
country.
