Students are allocated to one of the three levels on the basis of an assessment test held on the first day. The study program is divided into two parts - grammar and conversation.
The aim of the elementary levels is to provide students with basic communication skills in the new language, sufficient for coping with the most common everyday situations.
At the intermediate levels the students expand their vocabulary considerably and gain a deeper knowledge of the syntactic structure of Italian, thus greatly improving their capacity for expression.
Students attending the advanced courses study the language at a much deeper level and achieve greatly increased accuracy in both spoken and written Italian.
Throughout the courses the students are actively involved in the learning process through role-play activities and direct contact with real life outside the school.
The teaching staff are all highly qualified native speakers of Italian with University degrees in languages. All have experience teaching Italian as a foreign language either in Italy or abroad.
